Photographs from the 2009 Massachusetts Division 2 wrestling championships in North Andover are now posted in the MidwoodPhoto gallery. The newspaper sent me to cover the matches of a few of the Nashoba Chieftains. This is the first time I’ve photographed at a wrestling meet, and it took a little while to figure out when to take some of the shots, but I think they came out pretty well.

Last Wednesday, the Stow Independent sent me to cover the Nashoba Chieftains vs. Lunenburg at the North Star Youth Forum in Westboro. The teams skated to a 1-1 tie. It wasn’t the most comfortable rink in the world, and I ended up having to shoot in a little spot between the bench and the boards, but it was a good time none the less. I’ve started covering Friday Night Lights for the Stow Independent. Two Friday’s ago I got to cover the varsity football home opener for the Nashoba Chieftains in Bolton, MA. The Chieftains beat the Westboro Raiders, 23-0 on a rainy night. Two of my photos made it into the paper, and they weren’t too shabby for my first night out.
