New Flickr set. A few photos of my niece Maggie playing with the camera at the Cape this summer. Slightly out of focus, but still cute.

It took me a little while to get around to it, but I finally posted some of the photos from our summer trip to Montreal. I think a few of these would look great blown up on canvas. Now I just need to find some more wall space.

I picked up the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM lens a few weeks ago and I’m just starting to get around to processing some of the photos I’ve taken with it. So far I’m pretty pleased with it, but I’m still getting used to how close you really can get without making things look too distorted. Here are a couple of Ben at the Cape.

My wife and I recently made a quick trip down to Florida and I managed to get some decent sunset photos with a view of St. Pete in the background. These are HDR processed with three separate exposures. The photos are now up in the MidwoodPhoto gallery, and they are also posted in my Flickr account.

I finally got around to posting some of the photos from my niece Maggie’s first birthday party down in Pennsylvania. They are available in the gallery, and there are also a few more at my Flickr account (the ones that were too blurry or out of theme to make the cut).
